How important is (1 being the least important, 5 being the most important)

  1. The Look (venue, decor, flowers, etc)
  2. The Experience (food, entertainment, etc)
  3. Enjoying time with Guest

Use your priorities to guide you through the wedding planning process.  The best vendors in each category are usually booked first. Focus on these top priorities, do some research, and schedule meetings with these vendors first.

Also, follow these priorities for budgeting purposes. You will get overwhelmed with decisions that have to be made. Unless you have an unlimited budget, you will have to make decisions where you want to spend your money.  Using these priorities will guide you in where you need to make some cuts or not spend as much money.

Last but not least, talk to your friends who just got married. What did they wish they would have set a higher priority on?
